Fuel Efficiency

  1. Avoid long and unnecessary engine idling.
  2. It is better to switch off the engine at stops of over 2 minutes and start again when required.
  3. Keep tire pressure as (Recommended on the sticker pasted on chain case), as a 25% decrease in tire pressure can cost you 5~10 % more on petrol and 25% on tire life.
  4. Ride at normal speed. The faster you go, the more wind resistance your motorcycle will face, resulting more fuel consumption.
  5. Do not rest your foot on the brake pedal. This causes overheating and poor fuel economy.
  6. Always drive in the correct gear, incorrect gear shifting can lead to as much as 20% increase in fuel consumption.A dirty Air cleaner, out of adjustment carburetor, dirty Spark plugs, dirty engine oil, etc. all contribute to poor fuel economy. Therefore, replace or clean them as per requirement
